Skiing

I decided to write different topics of blog posts between college planning posts, just to keep things interesting!

As my bio says, one of my favorite things to do is ski. There's a mountain called Mount Sunapee about forty minutes from my house. I've been skiing for ten years now, and have been taking lessons at Sunapee for about six.

My friends and I used to have to wear cards on lanyards around our necks. This way, we wouldn't have to pay for a day pass. The chairlift attendants would scan our cards and we could go up.

However.

They decided to change things on us. Now we have a card that we keep in our pockets. In order to get on the chairlift, we have to ski through these TINY, LITTLE doors that reads our cards. Yesterday, my friend tried to ski through the doors. Unfortunately, if you don't ski through them quickly, they will close on you. This must have happened to my friend, because he fell over the doors, thus making the chairlift people's day.

I think I probably laughed all the long ride up the mountain.

Current Focuses

Hello all! I'm senior in high school, about to graduate in a few months. I decided to start this blog because I wanted to post stuff that just wasn't about writing. A few days ago I found this guy called Thomas Frank. Here's his website: collegeinfogeek.com, and I highly recommend it! One of the first things he says to do is create an Impossible List. An Impossible list is different from a bucket list, but I'll let him explain! Here's is where he got the idea: world’s first impossible list . Before I begin my Impossible List, I thought I would first create my Current Focus list, which will go on top of my Impossible List.
